Didn't find any S/D thread on McCartney, which I find a bit strange because if there is one act perfectly fit for a S/D thread, then McCartney solo is it. His solo career has been, sort of, consistently patchy, with moments of greatnes, but also the occasional moment of complete rubbish.
I would rank his solo albums as follows:
Perfect pop albums and obviously classic:
1. Tug Of War
2. Chaos And Creation In The Backyard
3. Flowers In The Dirt
4. Band On The Run
5. Venus And Mars
6. Ram
Not at all bad, yet not quite up there with the best of his best:
7. Flaming Pie
8. Driving Rain
9. London Town
10.Back To The Egg
11.Off The Ground
Patchy album with some great moments, but also some awful moments:
12.McCartney
13.Pipes Of Peace
14.Press To Play
15.Red Rose Speedway
16.McCartney II
Just awful:
17.Wings At The Speed Of Sound
18.Wild Life

Good god, how many Thanksgiving weekends can be occupied by the likes of discussing McCartney?
