And, of course, he makes abysmal films and he can't act.
His ignorance is staggering, too.... read thishttp://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_796910.html
Can you believe this philistine is comparing California to Baghdad?!?!?!? Err.... perhaps he should step back and realise WHY Baghdad isin such a pitiful state at the moment....?

Also, I'm British - so none of your '11th grade' shit, thank you.
And why oh why do Republicans always try to land the hippy drug crap on anyone who disagrees with their fascistic policies? It's SO passe. And rather embarrassing that you feel the need to lower yourself to jibes like that.
PS... School House Rock? God, you kill me. Too much television, dear. I never watch it - you should try it sometime.... it may expand your shallow life and bolster your intelligence.
I won't, of course, hold my breath.
Lola - do you honestly not think Schwarzenegger's statement comparing Baghdad to LA was incredibly crass and insensitive? Do you know what crass and insensitive even means?
Thank you.

^^Um...I was being sarcastic, you dumbass...I was making ridiculous overgeneralizations like you were doing in your original post.
And you're British? Good. I fucking hate Brits. You're all a bunch of stuck up, stiff assed bastards. The only thing your country is good for is a pretty spiffy looking flag, and Depeche Mode. See if you can find the overgeneralizations in there...as well as some sarcasm. Don't open your big pretentious mouth when you have nothing new or original to say. Move along now.

Learn to string a decent sentence together, then attempt a put down - poorly constructed put downs make you look alarmingly gimpy. Your English is woeful... shows up your piss poor education. So with all these big names (to name a few) in his corner, the question is:Who is really going to run California? This is like a state-size version of the presidential administration. Bush is the photo boy and punching bag while Cheney, Rumsfeld and Ashcroft run the real show behind the scenes while everyone else is distracted by G.W.'s funny little antics. What a country!Doesn't anyone find it odd that a high profile Republican has been elected governor to the state with the fifth largest economy in the world? A state with a huge population? A state with many electoral votes? All these happening a year before 2004, a presidential election year? Hmmmm....Bush must really want to be re-elected....Oh wait, he was never elected to begin with. In fact, he was GIVEN the office of president by the Supreme Court, that's right. How quickly others forget.Bush must really want to be ELECTED, legitimately (if that still exists in the USA anymore.)I think all these things are tied. It's not a conspiracy or conspiracy theory, it's all there in the open, you just have to know where to look and put all the pieces together. My problem with the Republicans/conservatives/reactionaries is that they want to create or recreate a world that does not exist anymore.Their world is made up of a racially homogenous society (mostly white) and/or a financially homogenous society (mostly rich and middle to upper middle class) that has most if not all of the control over every aspect of society. They don't mind the poor or ethnic groups as long as they never speak up. They want to keep certain people at certain levels so that they, the overlords, never lose power. Occasionally they will reward the hardworking middle and lower class with little things here and there but not too much; got to keep the food chain in order. The fact is that without the labor of the poor and middle class, the rich would have nothing. And they know that. And what better way to keep the workers at a distance, under control and less powerful than by pitting worker against worker. Or giving small "rewards" to some workers on a gradual basis so as to make them think that they are being "accepted" or climbing that ladder to whatever success means today in the USA. It's a great game plan if it wasn't so destructive.Usually, people who have something to lose are less willing to sacrifice anything to get something more of what they need or deserve while those with nothing to lose are much more willing to try to get what they know is right.
The US is becoming more mixed year after year both racially and financially. Government and society has to acknowledge that. These aren't the tiny thirteen colonies anymore. It's not all rich people or all white European-Americans anymore. There is no more slavery (at least in an obvious form). There is little or no restriction to education, information and knowledge for the masses. This is the 21st century. Everyone better start thinking about that real hard.Is this country going to be progressive and change with the times and consider new, creative and productive ideas that may seem radical at first but just might benefit all people if we are just willing to try?Or are we just going to live in a Norman Rockwell portrait where problems don't exist therefore there is no need to find or try any solutions? I live in California, unfortunately it is in Orange County, but I will deal with it for now. I would like this state to be a leader and an example to the rest of the country that great things can happen if everyone works together and resolves problems in constructive and inclusive ways.No one should be alienated and no one should be made to feel inferior.I'd like to think that we are all here on this planet to try to make life a great experience for ALL and help those who are less fortunate. Not just by giving in to an occasional hand out but by going directly to the source of the problem or misfortune and finding a solution. If we really tried and really cared about our surroundings political, social and environmental we can prevent future problems and repair current ones and hopefully learn from our mistakes and try never to repeat them again.I hope California will be okay under Conan The Destroyer (the sequel to Conan the Barbarian). I hope we can get past this embarrassment and try not to take it so hard.Anyways, that just a little bit of how I know this state might be in for one hell of a ride... emphasis on HELL.
