Dear Oprah,

We want to attend one of your shows but are hoping to come on a day when you are giving something away, hopfully a car!!! How can we find out which days you are doing giving aways?? Any hints for us? We have a request in on your web site.

Oprah, I have a very very personal problem I need help with. I am 18 years old and have been suffering from depression for seven years. I've pretty much been able to keep it under control, but another mental disorder recently came into affect. I have an obsession. My obsession has taken control of my life, my obsession has made me feel very low like I'm worth absolutely nothing. There has been an older woman who has taken under her wing when my depression first began. She was there for me, we were very close at one point, but ever since I've been diagnosed and told her the cause for my depression she backed away from me. I have changed myself so much for her. I have done everything I could possibly do and nothing can get through to her. She is my obsession. I love her so much, she's like another mother to me. The only thing I want is just for her to love me back. I don't know if she does, I try to talk to her about it. Every sing time I bring that subject up, she gets angry doesn't answer me or avoids me. Most people whom I have confided in about this have just told me to get over her. I want to, but then there's apart of me that can't let her go because apart of me belongs to her. Oprah please help me, I don't know what else to do or who else to go to. All I want is to be happy, and I want to make her proud of me, proud to know me, proud to be around me. I am so tired of holding things in, I've written her letters, no response, I just don't know what else to do. I cry everyday , it hurts so bad. I feel so low and no one seems to understand. Oprah please help me. I don't know what to do.

Dear Richelle,
If you have Config.sys and Autoexec.bat files on your PC (again, not all systems do), then any commands that they contain are automatically loaded or any programs that they refer to are automatically started when they themselves are loaded. One very common problem that occurs when you install new software (or hardware) on your PC is that the installation program may add a line to one of these startup files. This line (or lines) tells your PC to automatically load some software that the new program (or piece of hardware) that you just installed requires. Unfortunately, sometimes those new startup programs conflict with other software you already have installed on your system and cause the boot process to stop or your system to crash.

dear oprah about six months ago my grandmother had a heart attack and we were all there when she was in the hospital and no that she is getting better i still go back to the day wen she was just laying in the hospital lookin like she had no life in her at all. i was very scared that day because i didnt no wat would happen if i was to lose her i dont even think my family would be the same if she was not here anymore. i would like to ask if its not to much to just one day have a show about people losing there loved ones or almost losing there loved ones so people can see how heard it was for use to see her in the hospital bed that day. thank you and God bless
