Are you fully aware thatthis is the first tme in the august history of Ask a Drunk that someone has asked a question and simply had it answered? What is the world coming to?

Matt (Matt), Saturday, 25 February 2006 02:33 (nineteen years ago)

hopefully not logic and reasoning

*shudder*

StrangeDays (StrangeDays), Saturday, 25 February 2006 07:53 (nineteen years ago)

Matt, I know you live in another time zone and all, but's it's not nearly August.

M. White (Miguelito), Saturday, 25 February 2006 19:01 (nineteen years ago)

don't be facetious, Michael

Matt (Matt), Sunday, 26 February 2006 10:15 (nineteen years ago)

An instant and straightforward answer ?
Excuse me, I appear to be in the wrong thread.
To the bar, where the true answer lies.
One large facetious, with ice and tonic please, barkeep

Geoffrey Judge ( Ivor Feltersnatch), Monday, 27 February 2006 14:20 (nineteen years ago)

I went to the local tavern the other day and asked for a large facetious. They kicked my ass for being facetious. Then they kicked me out for being to young to be there in the first place. It's strange because I saw the bartender serving these attractive, and blossoming fourteen year olds just a few seconds prior. I wonder why he would serve them, but kick me out?

((Censored)) ((Censored)), Wednesday, 8 March 2006 19:15 (nineteen years ago)

It was because they were attactive..... fourteen..... and girls..... Ladies and Gentalmen... my I present the next Stalin *An Attractive 14 Year Old Girl steps from behind the curtian*

Gov. Jerry Brown (Uber Alles), Sunday, 12 March 2006 08:19 (nineteen years ago)

No, Jerry, that was the last Stalin. If you study the photographic evidence – ignoring that tiresome computer-generated walrus moustache – the matter is beyond dispute.

(What do you mean, the later photos show him with grey hair? Of course they do; they’re in black and white.)

Rex (Rex), Sunday, 12 March 2006 17:52 (nineteen years ago)

two weeks pass...
HA!.

Gov. Jerry Brown (Uber Alles), Monday, 27 March 2006 05:28 (nineteen years ago)

It's well know, Rex, and I'm shocked you haven't mentioned this, that Uncle Joe's dedication to humanity also impelled her to dye her hair a deep, revolutionary shade of red. The moustache, btw, was merely to hide a long, thin upper lip.

M. White (Miguelito), Monday, 27 March 2006 14:52 (nineteen years ago)

And of course no-one has as yet addressed the question of why the piglet was so forcibly rejected from the ranks of our great poets. Or, for that matter, how a fucking piglet came to be included in the canon in the first place.

Matt (Matt), Monday, 27 March 2006 22:36 (nineteen years ago)

Surely, his poem, 'Oink', ranks among the most poignant and forceful of all porcine works ever.

M. White (Miguelito), Tuesday, 28 March 2006 14:11 (nineteen years ago)

Delegare non potest delegatus

Stuart William Algernon Wilson, Friday, 31 March 2006 15:16 (nineteen years ago)

'Oink' was indeed a jewel among pebbles. Oh the emotion in line 23, where the piglet brilliantly states 'Oink oink sqeaul/grunt oink qeal oink'. He is a poet that diserves to be with the greats. greats such as Poe! Frost! Raffi!

he truely has a way with words.

((Censored)) ((Censored)), Friday, 31 March 2006 17:35 (nineteen years ago)

Even now it brings tears to my eyes.

M. White (Miguelito), Friday, 31 March 2006 21:54 (nineteen years ago)

two months pass...
yes. but alas, his newer works dont seem to live up to great poems such as "oink" and "grunt oink."

((Censored)) ((Censored)), Wednesday, 7 June 2006 16:36 (eighteen years ago)

His song 'Poor Clove' is the most self-serving tripe ever, alas.

M. White (Miguelito), Wednesday, 7 June 2006 19:43 (eighteen years ago)

Though his tripes were quite tasty with cloves.

Matt (Matt), Monday, 12 June 2006 11:36 (eighteen years ago)

one month passes...
just showed this to my new roomate. he flatly stated, "they know how to party in russia." man that's great stuff.

jdchurchill (jdchurchill), Wednesday, 2 August 2006 03:40 (eighteen years ago)

Perhaps you wished for your post to be part of the august history of AAD, but I'm worried that it took you five months to show that to your roommate.
