Pinocchio - haven't seen this one in a long time. It's actually a bit disconcerting, because I read something closer to the "original" story a while back, and the story really is something very different. Not unexpected for a Disney flick, but still...

Shampoo - best Warren Beatty film ever? Plus Julie Christie, a great cameo by Carrie Fisher, perenially underrated Jack Warden. Another keystone script by Robert Towne, a bittersweet Ashby direction. And a lot of sex. One of the best films about the 60's, one of the best films of the 70's.

Matador It's been years since I've seen this, but I loved it back in the day, and am puzzled that it never seems to get brought up in recent discussions of his work.

Pinocchio The donkey-boys scarred me for life.

Shampoo I like this movie, but I've never quite understood its cult following. Maybe I need to see it again.
