Sorry, I don't think I've seen anything on this list, with the exception of Superman II, which was when I was six so I don't remember much about it. I have to watch the Superman films again though because apparently the "fortress of solitude" scenes were inspired by Stan Brakhage and involved painting directly on the film.

I've still have never seen any Straub/Huillet films, although they are high on my list.

Interesting irony that Mississippi Burning came up, seeing as the murderer in the incident that inspired the film is now on trial.

Superman II is the best of its ilk, esp for Hackman and Stamp.

Muriel is an odd, dense film, maybe Resnais' best.

The Go-Between is primo Christie-Bates-Losey, but alas I only saw a faded print a couple years back. Pinter adapted it.
