ATLANTA, GA – MARCH 30 - Anna Lisa Benson filed a Divorce Petition today against her husband of seven years, Kris Benson, pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles. The petition was filed in Fulton County Superior Court in Atlanta, Georgia, where the Bensons reside. Mrs. Benson’s Petition for Divorce claims the marriage is irretrievably broken. She also requests full custody of the parties’ two minor children, alimony, child support and equitable division of the parties’ marital estate.
A hearing is scheduled in the matter on May 2, 2006 before the Honorable Gail Tusan. Mrs. Benson is represented by Jeffrey B. Bogart of Bogart & Bogart, P.C., in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Bogart hopes that the parties can negotiate a resolution to this matter by private settlement. Under Georgia law, if a negotiated settlement is unsuccessful, a Petition can be amended to allege specific grounds for divorce.

Tabloid favorite Anna Benson no longer wants to divorce Baltimore Orioles pitcher Kris Benson.
On Tuesday, she dismissed the divorce petition she had filed last week in Atlanta, attorney Jeffrey B. Bogart said in a press release. Instead of splitting, she expressed a desire to reconcile her marriage.
"Anna did a lot of soul searching over the weekend, and it is her desire to repair her marriage," Bogart told ESPN.com.

When the police asked Anna about the bullet-proof vest, she said she was testing it for a company and had to wear it for long periods of time to get it to "mold to her body."

Obscure nugget from Chuck Finley Wiki page:
"As Finley took the mound for an April 2002 game against the Chicago White Sox at then-Comiskey Park II, the stadium's musical director, Joe Stephen, took a subtle dig at Finley's messy divorce, and played "Here I Go Again" by the band Whitesnake, referencing Tawny Kitaen's appearance in that band's videos and her previous marriage to the band's lead singer, David Coverdale. Stephen was later fired and the White Sox apologized.[5]"
