Probable Booker prize nominee for 2005 I'd have said, what about you?

When it wins the Booker/Pulitzer/Nobel, Gear's roommate is going to have to move to Patagonia.

Grrr. This stupid thing. They've been arguing about it all night over on ILE. The only interest I really have in it is the "when is a book not a book" argument.
It might make an interesting essay for a law student.

I only would have bought a copy if it had included my immortal "How Are The Bugs Where You Are?" thread.

Uh... What are you guys talking about? I searched Amazon for "Excelsior" and the results are disconcerting...

535 new answers already.I just couldn't read it anymore and turned to "BWOOP BWOOP KITTENS" instead.

Wise decision probably.

Vermont Girl, one of the ILX regulars put up a 'book' of ILE threads on Cafepress for sale. There have been many objections, since the posters own their own copyright. The discussion has revolved around ideas of what constitutes publication and whether you think a Cafepress book is a real book or merely a photocopy with pretensions, or if that even makes a difference.
