I've been drinking, and I've been thinking I know nothing about Canadian literature. There's Margaret Atwood, and Michael Ondaatje, and Leonard Cohen, I guess, plus Neil Young's dad, but after that, who? Who's their Whitman, Dickinson, Melville, and Poe? What am I missing out on, down here, in my American isolationsism? Take me to school, Canadaphiles!
