Also, I remember from a wee while ago that there is a delay between when a thread is de-indexed and it disappearing from Google's cache. Does anyone know specifics about this?

how does de-indexing something from Google work or how is it done anyway?

someone deindexed the thread, and I googleproofed the name in the title so that the main ile page wouldn't show up in a google search either. I don't think further googleproofing is necessary.
