lock or delete?

This thread appears to be a negative thread about a musician -- what else is new on ILM, right? Except the musician is a friend of mine, and it was started mere hours after I said on ILE that she told me she'd been reading ILM lately. So I have to be certain that this was an attempt to stir shit up, knowing that she'd be reading. And of course, it worked, because she's now posted on her blog (ed1thfr0st.com) that she was hurt by it.

The thread seems to be slipping down New Answers, but is there any way it could be locked or deleted, just in case someone wants to revive it later? Or is this a kind of "price of fame" thing, because she's a public figure? I feel bad for even saying anything in the first place, but I had no idea there were opportunistic lurkers on TITTWIS.

I've got no beef with TITTWIS, but I don't see how you could even read it if you didn't post to it. Unless you had some kind of social problem. Well, I guess that's the same t hing as jaymc is saying.

Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think it should be locked or deleted. She can handle it, ya know? I'm just being protective. Plus, other people have turned the thread around nicely. I still think it was a dick move to start it, tho.
