because this is getting out of hand--i'm not sure if this'll stop 'em but it's worth a try; otherwise the thread is going to become completely unusable (and it's too much to ask the mods to keep a constant eye on it)

oh it's just spam! yeah I'll make it reg-user only and delete the spam. I don't think googleproofing will hurt/help, the spambot just latches onto certain threads; I didn't realize this was one of the problem threads or I would have been watching it.
