Exasperating Catch Phrases!

I actually like this one, but I've noticed that in both the Superman and Green Arrow Showcase volumes, "Great guns!" gets a lot of play.

CRISIS ON INFINITE CATCHPHRASE THREADS!

David R. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 25 January 2006 15:50 (twenty years ago)

Anyway, since I don't want to start a new thread, I'm listening to Fanboy Radio podcasts. They're, ah, what you'd expect. Except, I don't know, J.M. DeMatteis sounds pretty much like I thought he would, and Keith Giffen didn't show up, which is, like, wtf! Why bother (no offense, J.M.)?
Now I've got EdBru on. He's talking about how MCP is sort of a competent, but rarely dazzling ILC poster. It's fucked up.

just d/led R!ch J0hnston!
The other ones are all like 8/9 minutes, but RJ's is 45 minutes! I'm so psyched!

Can't understand a thing he's saying. GET A REAL PHONE, RICH.

Huk-L (Huk-L), Tuesday, 31 January 2006 23:26 (twenty years ago)

What, are you serious?!? Is it worth investing three bucks in BitPass to hear some of this stuff?

What, are you serious?!?

No, I'm just kidding (in re: Perpetua's comments re: Bru on the Mammomax thread). I didn't have to pay anything to hear them. If you have iTunes, just go to the PodCast directory and look for Fanboy Radio. They might have longer bits that they charge for, and you can make your own decision w/r/t that once you hear the free stuff.

Huk-L (Huk-L), Thursday, 2 February 2006 14:30 (twenty years ago)

Ah, I see-- thanks!

Wikipedia: so wrong!

"From the popular mediums of the Green Lantern comic books and the 1960's cartoon show, it was very apparent that Pieface merely acted as a cheerleader for Green Lantern. Usually by the end of the story, Green Lantern would end up having to save Pieface from the villain. Needless to say, Green Lantern doesn't hang out with Pieface anymore."

David R. (popshots75`), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 16:27 (twenty years ago)

Does it mention that Pieface once has his own SuperHero Group at least?

Huk-L (Huk-L), Wednesday, 15 February 2006 16:32 (twenty years ago)

It possibly comes from the chant: "Who ate all the pies?"
