To me, my thing is, a video image is much more powerful and useful than an actual event. Like back when I used to go out, when I was last out, I was walking down the street and this guy, that came barreling out of a bar, fell right in front of me, and he had a knife right in his back, landed right on the ground and... Well, I have no reference to it now. I can't put it on pause. I can't put it on slow mo and see all the little details. And the blood, it was all wrong. It didn't look like blood. The hue was off. I couldn't adjust the hue. I was seeing it for real, but it just wasn't right. And I didn't even see the knife impact on the body. I missed that part.

two years pass...

my (drunk/poss coked up) male roommate propositioned me the other night via TEXT MESSAGE and then proceeded to send more texts that got overly creepy after i told him "no, cut it out." we were both home in the apt while this was going on and he knows quite well i have a boyfriend. i told him to cut it out and forget it and just to leave the rent check. we are just avoiding each other at this point but he has STILL not left his fucking check.

the creepy stuff was about how he "views me as a really tragic figure" but "sometimes can't help himself" and basically made no sense. bascially NOT NORMAL ROOMMATE SHIT.

argh do not want to talk to dude but need to ask him for his check AGAIN which will possibly lead to more weirdness. rent is already 8 days late at this point. and lease up sept 1. why things have to get so shady? DNW
