DV (dirtyvicar), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 16:28 (twenty-three years ago)

on the top kittens thread, where you'd expect her to be

where are ramosi, samantha dallasdeadgirl and kevan splishsplosh (aka lennie thetford)?

mark s (mark s), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 16:32 (twenty-three years ago)

Katie these days

Graham (graham), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 16:33 (twenty-three years ago)

Kevan got kicked off the internet at work for ilxoring (I met him on a train on New Year's Eve)

Graham (graham), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 16:33 (twenty-three years ago)

Did he?? Gawsh poor Kevan. I were thinking of him just t'other day...

Sarah (starry), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 16:37 (twenty-three years ago)

omar!

gareth (gareth), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 16:40 (twenty-three years ago)

Where's DG? He never posts anymore.

Michael Bourke, Tuesday, 5 November 2002 17:01 (twenty-three years ago)

I lurk in a seedy fashion

DG (D_To_The_G), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 17:25 (twenty-three years ago)

what about Fat Nick?

MarkH (MarkH), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 17:26 (twenty-three years ago)

he has disappeared into the 14th century and has yet to return

DG (D_To_The_G), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 17:30 (twenty-three years ago)

heh I'm surprised he hasn't posted on this yet

DG (D_To_The_G), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 17:34 (twenty-three years ago)

Did he hit a time lock? I had a great deal of trouble with those in the past-ah. Ended up in the 1860's for 125 years.

Mark E Smith, Tuesday, 5 November 2002 17:37 (twenty-three years ago)

Where's Bill? And no, Mr Fall frontman you, don't try to tell me that he's dead....

MarkH (MarkH), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 17:38 (twenty-three years ago)

DG really has become a proper lurker. He always pops up when people mention him but never posts otherwise. Why not, DG?

N. (nickdastoor), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 17:43 (twenty-three years ago)

no, just coincidence, I posted on the far-right thread before my name was mentioned...

DG (D_To_The_G), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 17:47 (twenty-three years ago)

Did he hit a time lock? I had a great deal of trouble with those in the past-ah.

Man, I'm always getting time locks in my pasta!

Jody Beth Rosen (Jody Beth Rosen), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 17:49 (twenty-three years ago)

He did. I saw him. I was going to post "where is the Deeg?" on this thread, but then I saw him on the far right thread.

kate, Tuesday, 5 November 2002 17:50 (twenty-three years ago)

You've been quiet yourself, Mike B.

Ronan (Ronan), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 17:53 (twenty-three years ago)

Yeah, I have been actually. I did finally get a job though! (not that that would stop me from going on the internet or anything)

Michael Bourke, Tuesday, 5 November 2002 18:11 (twenty-three years ago)

'I was going to post "where is the Deeg?" on this thread, but then I saw him on the far right thread'

joan vich (joan vich), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 18:45 (twenty-three years ago)

and?

DG (D_To_The_G), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 18:48 (twenty-three years ago)

sorry 'bout that.
my computer skills totally suck.

'I was going to post "where is the Deeg?" on this thread, but then I saw him on the far right'

that was THE quote. kate was wondering where is the deeg, and then she saw you on the right side of the screen (ha... ha... ha...).

joan vich (joan vich), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 18:50 (twenty-three years ago)

ah, did wonder

DG (D_To_The_G), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 18:55 (twenty-three years ago)

sometimes I wonder how the shy couple are making out.

felicity (felicity), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 19:07 (twenty-three years ago)

gareth - i met up with omar last week, + all-being-well again in a couple of weeks. i'll pass on your regards (or something).

stevo (stevo), Tuesday, 5 November 2002 20:06 (twenty-three years ago)

does kate = DJCT?

s magnet, Wednesday, 6 November 2002 17:51 (twenty-three years ago)

two years pass...
REVIVE!

Anyone know what happened to caitlin? Not "caitlin oh no", the other one? She posted frequently then she seemed to abruptly stop in June, somewhat appropriately after posting to "I have finally read the entire Internet."

Onimo (GerryNemo), Thursday, 4 August 2005 11:55 (twenty years ago)

A month in missing isn't enough to get concerned... I've had months when I posted almost nothing. Maybe she's on a summer holiday?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:02 (twenty years ago)

Or are you actually worried about her because she seemed somewhat depressed?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:08 (twenty years ago)

You're probably right. I'll keep an eye out for her reappearance all the same.

And, yes, a bit worried. She had a few problems with people at work and seemingly not much else to take her mind off it except for us lot.

Onimo (GerryNemo), Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:14 (twenty years ago)

whatever happened to Smee?

g-kit (g-kit), Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:15 (twenty years ago)

was caitlin the one umm-ing and ah-ing about going to the party? maybe she got lucky.

N_RQ, Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:17 (twenty years ago)

English Caitlin is fine and accounted for. Worry not.

Masonic Boom (kate), Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:17 (twenty years ago)

She posted to her blog in the wake of the London bombings on 7/7.

Greig (treefell), Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:17 (twenty years ago)

Good, because I got a bit worried too.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:29 (twenty years ago)

Smee still posts occasionally, I think.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:31 (twenty years ago)

And Toraneko and Minna made a reappearance this summer (or should I say winter?), though they redisappeared just as quickly.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:33 (twenty years ago)

Thanks Kate, good to hear it.

Onimo (GerryNemo), Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:39 (twenty years ago)

Isn't Minna in England now?

I can't remember whether rumpy pumpkin was smee, or just someone who knew her.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:43 (twenty years ago)

oh, i dunno that either. i'd feel hella dim if that was so.

g-kit (g-kit), Thursday, 4 August 2005 12:55 (twenty years ago)

isn't caitlin posting under another name?

tokyo nursery school: afternoon session (rosemary), Thursday, 4 August 2005 13:38 (twenty years ago)

Yes.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 4 August 2005 13:42 (twenty years ago)

theyre all here, to some degree, under different names

Doncaster A38 (gareth), Thursday, 4 August 2005 14:07 (twenty years ago)

g-kit looks dim on ILX part 2549

g-kit (g-kit), Thursday, 4 August 2005 14:09 (twenty years ago)

jeremy jordan (cruisy), Friday, 5 August 2005 01:43 (twenty years ago)

jeremy jordan (cruisy), Friday, 5 August 2005 01:43 (twenty years ago)

Marco Salvetti (moustache), Friday, 5 August 2005 01:46 (twenty years ago)

shine headlights on me (electricsound), Friday, 5 August 2005 01:46 (twenty years ago)

Bahaha.

Trayce (trayce), Friday, 5 August 2005 02:04 (twenty years ago)

What name is Caitlin using then?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Friday, 5 August 2005 08:32 (twenty years ago)

I'm not sure she wants to say.

Archel (Archel), Friday, 5 August 2005 08:34 (twenty years ago)

one year passes...
I don't I've seen Martin S. post for months, how is he these days?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Saturday, 5 August 2006 11:58 (nineteen years ago)

"don't think"

Tuomas (Tuomas), Saturday, 5 August 2006 11:59 (nineteen years ago)

I was thinking of him the other day as well.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Saturday, 5 August 2006 13:41 (nineteen years ago)

I emailed him a few months back after I hadn't seen him on here or AIM for ages and got no reply for about a month. Then swapped emails for a few days then haven't heard since.
He's not doing too well and doesn't know when/if he will be back on ILX. He said to let people know but i didn't wanna post on the board as I didn't feel comfortable doing it without someone asking(even though he said it was ok to do so)
So as you all know him you will know he's suffering from depression and I just hope he gets better and comes back soon.
I miss his funk thread and I look forward to him resuming it.

I actually was going to email him the other day but got sidetracked.

I think he was keeping in touch with someone from here , but I don't know who, so maybe they can give an update?

Brigadier Lethbridge-Pfunkboy (Kerr), Saturday, 5 August 2006 14:38 (nineteen years ago)

best wishes to him

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 5 August 2006 16:13 (nineteen years ago)

Martin is fine - I've seen him a few times and he's still posting in other places. He's just taking an ILX break. You'll be pleased to know he's pretty happy at the moment as well (or was last time I saw him).

Matt DC (Matt DC), Saturday, 5 August 2006 17:01 (nineteen years ago)

Wonderful to hear! Do give him my best.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Saturday, 5 August 2006 17:05 (nineteen years ago)

Thats great news!

Brigadier Lethbridge-Pfunkboy (Kerr), Saturday, 5 August 2006 17:07 (nineteen years ago)

Did Fetchboy ever come back after Katrina?

chrisco (chrisco), Saturday, 5 August 2006 19:14 (nineteen years ago)

Uh, yes? He posts all the time!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Saturday, 5 August 2006 19:18 (nineteen years ago)

Yeah, he's posted somewhere recently, and hasn't really gone away. He turned up half-way through one of the post-Katrina threads to say he'd got out of NO, and I got the mods to add a message to say he was safe since it got lost in a pile of other posts.

xpost

ailsa (ailsa), Saturday, 5 August 2006 19:19 (nineteen years ago)

Yup. Elvis T and I met him one evening when he was in LA temporarily -- very good egg -- and he's since returned and is his good self.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Saturday, 5 August 2006 19:25 (nineteen years ago)

glad to hear Martin S is fine.

Cathy (Cathy), Saturday, 5 August 2006 19:28 (nineteen years ago)

Well, I missed that. Good to hear!

chrisco (chrisco), Sunday, 6 August 2006 00:25 (nineteen years ago)

Hello I am in turkey but i am not missed amirite

mark grout (mark grout), Sunday, 6 August 2006 07:26 (nineteen years ago)

You're still posting inexplicable gibberish on the Big Brother threads! How can you be missed if you don't go away?

ailsa (ailsa), Sunday, 6 August 2006 07:28 (nineteen years ago)

Good that Martin's feeling better.

I note a lack of Sterling C or Nicole i the last few weeks, or maybe I'm just looking at the wrongthreads.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Sunday, 6 August 2006 08:22 (nineteen years ago)

Martin posted on FT last week, if he's not still posting on ILC occasionally...

Kit (kit brash), Monday, 7 August 2006 09:31 (nineteen years ago)

I just got an email from Martin. He doesn't know when he will be back on ILX but he hasn't left for good.

Brigadier Lethbridge-Pfunkboy (Kerr), Monday, 7 August 2006 09:38 (nineteen years ago)

scott seward (scott seward), Monday, 7 August 2006 09:39 (nineteen years ago)

Konal Doddz (blueski), Monday, 7 August 2006 09:42 (nineteen years ago)
