this is your near future everybody

donut bitch (donut), Friday, 15 November 2002 20:40 (twenty-two years ago)

That is the greatest thing in the entire history of human artistic endeavour.

Colin Meeder (Mert), Friday, 15 November 2002 20:42 (twenty-two years ago)

in complete agreement with colin here. July is the greatest month evah!

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Friday, 15 November 2002 20:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Ooh, I want one! Julio is right about July.

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 15 November 2002 20:53 (twenty-two years ago)

is it work safe?

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Friday, 15 November 2002 20:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes, although not really in the sense that, once you see it, you will immediately quit your job and go forth to follow the Pink Moose.

Colin Meeder (Mert), Friday, 15 November 2002 20:56 (twenty-two years ago)

There's a nice bit of midriff, but that's all, Mr Noodles.

12 months just isn't enough.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller), Friday, 15 November 2002 20:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Absolutely right about July. November and December aren't far off, but July, man. It just says it all.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 15 November 2002 21:00 (twenty-two years ago)

this is so great! i like june the best for some reason. where are these photos taken?

fields of salmon (fieldsofsalmon), Friday, 15 November 2002 21:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, you all better fucking appreciate July; that photo cost me a twonie!

Salmon, this was all in Vancouver.. Kitsilano neighborhood, Broadway... except June was taken at a friend's dance house party in the Commercial drive area.

donut bitch (donut), Friday, 15 November 2002 21:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Such language, DB. Be nice.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 15 November 2002 21:05 (twenty-two years ago)

April/Anthony is the cruelest/bestest month.

bnw (bnw), Friday, 15 November 2002 21:06 (twenty-two years ago)

June + July really rock my world.

stevo (stevo), Friday, 15 November 2002 21:09 (twenty-two years ago)

July contains bomb like capabilities.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Friday, 15 November 2002 21:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah, but on the other hand, it's so sad to see Rush so far down on the slide.

donut bitch (donut), Friday, 15 November 2002 21:13 (twenty-two years ago)

You mean that isn't BTO?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 15 November 2002 21:14 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm sure there's some BO in there somewhere.

lawrence kansas (lawrence kansas), Friday, 15 November 2002 21:19 (twenty-two years ago)

C. L. A. S. S. I. C.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 15 November 2002 21:19 (twenty-two years ago)

That Superman shirt is a sweet sweet thing.

lawrence kansas (lawrence kansas), Friday, 15 November 2002 21:20 (twenty-two years ago)

I like March and July best! What happened to Anthony's shoes? and how'd his trousers get so muddy?

jel -- (jel), Friday, 15 November 2002 22:28 (twenty-two years ago)

i was rolling down a hill without my shoes on. there are some shots of brian missing, also the shots of me actually rolling down the hill, why do you censor the things i lurve ?

anthony easton (anthony), Friday, 15 November 2002 22:33 (twenty-two years ago)

yeah! we want pics of Anthony rollin' rollin' rollin'

jel -- (jel), Friday, 15 November 2002 22:35 (twenty-two years ago)

March is obviously best, fools

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Friday, 15 November 2002 22:44 (twenty-two years ago)

but but but I said March too!

jel -- (jel), Friday, 15 November 2002 22:46 (twenty-two years ago)

Sadly, the pic of Anthony in rolling action never developed. :( So, I guess I won't be getting my army of homing pigeons carrying a cool one mil c/o Dan I.

donut bitch (donut), Friday, 15 November 2002 23:11 (twenty-two years ago)

it looks like he peed himself for the big dance scene. is that way he is dancing by himself?

brightly eyed fool, Friday, 15 November 2002 23:12 (twenty-two years ago)

uh no.

my favorites are January and December... (January was taken behind a church, if you want context)

donut bitch (donut), Friday, 15 November 2002 23:13 (twenty-two years ago)

are you not sure. it does happen.

brightly eyed fool, Friday, 15 November 2002 23:28 (twenty-two years ago)

bef, why don't you ask anthony himself?

donut bitch (donut), Friday, 15 November 2002 23:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Although its subtleties may be lost due to poor photography on Brian's part, I must state that AUGUST is undoubtedly the best month! The SUB REPLICA is heading straight for Anthony's OPEN MOUTH! Even the dead animal thing hanging off dude's geet-ar can't top that!

Alex in SF (Alex in SF), Friday, 15 November 2002 23:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Too late to recall the pigeons! Let loose the BEARST!!!

Dan I., Saturday, 16 November 2002 01:25 (twenty-two years ago)

you guys KICKED IT!

ron (ron), Saturday, 16 November 2002 01:54 (twenty-two years ago)

April is classic. I feel honoured that you saved this shot for my birthday month.

Rebecca (reb), Saturday, 16 November 2002 03:17 (twenty-two years ago)

October has a fetching winsomeness about it

Matt (Matt), Saturday, 16 November 2002 03:41 (twenty-two years ago)

October got a couple of rain drops on it, one of which was very well (or very badly?) placed

donut bitch (donut), Saturday, 16 November 2002 04:34 (twenty-two years ago)

anthony=no 1 lot lizard trash

Queen G (Queeng), Saturday, 16 November 2002 10:32 (twenty-two years ago)

these are v. good.

april is my favourite.

RJG (RJG), Saturday, 16 November 2002 17:57 (twenty-two years ago)

anthony easton is my nĂ¼-Pop Icon!

I would definitely like to order one of these. I would display it prominently, and if anyone asked "Who is anthony easton?" I would say "You don't know who ANTHONY EASTON is?" just like that.

April has its charms, the November feast-of-plenty has merit, but Anthony's Hand of God from the Sistine Chapel in the March photo cannot be denied. March is best.

felicity (felicity), Sunday, 17 November 2002 03:20 (twenty-two years ago)

August reminds me of my hometown. Birthplace of Arab on Radar, or so I hear.

Arthur (Arthur), Sunday, 17 November 2002 05:18 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh, that's brilliant. You guys are geniuses, honestly. You guys should at least print them out on cards and send themf or the Holidays.

Ally (mlescaut), Sunday, 17 November 2002 05:26 (twenty-two years ago)

February gets me in the mood for the Superbowl. Hut, Hut, Hike!

felicity (felicity), Sunday, 17 November 2002 05:29 (twenty-two years ago)

February too.

Graham (graham), Sunday, 17 November 2002 21:20 (twenty-two years ago)

one month passes...
ok donut bitch, I really need to have one of these. Please make them -- I'll take up a collection if you can figure out how.

Otherwise I am stuck with the completely inappropriate NYFD Calendar of Heroes that someone gave me, and that's just wrong.

felicity (felicity), Wednesday, 1 January 2003 20:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Shall I quickly print this up as ILXPress 0001?

If yes, what special ILX holidays and festivals should I include?

j.lu (j.lu), Friday, 3 January 2003 03:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Is that a possibility? yesyesyesyes! You could always borrow the birthday list from mark s and make put them all over the calendat as "St. [alias]'s Day." Although that's a lot of work -- I'd be glad to help.

felicity (felicity), Friday, 3 January 2003 03:06 (twenty-two years ago)

This would be great!

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 3 January 2003 03:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Okay, I've started work on this calendar. I figure it can be distributed sort of the way the ILX compilation is being done -- I'll mail masters to contacts in each city, who will be responsible for color photocopying copies for each person who wants one.

Nicole and Felicity: Could you prepare and mail to me within a couple days the list of 1) ILXers birthdays and 2) holidays that we want to commenmorate on this calendar?

j.lu (j.lu), Friday, 3 January 2003 04:17 (twenty-two years ago)

ok, I'll ask mark s to send you or me the birthday list or I'll cobble one together by hand --

ANYONE WHO WANTS A ST. ALIAS' DAY NAMED AFTER YOU WHETHER OR NOT IT IS YOUR ACTUAL BIRTHDAY PLEASE EMAIL ME

felicity (felicity), Friday, 3 January 2003 04:21 (twenty-two years ago)

otherwise, I may randomly assign St. [alias]' Day to the remaining top (365 minus the # of known birthdays) posters at random to ensure utter birthday confusion in 2003

felicity (felicity), Friday, 3 January 2003 04:23 (twenty-two years ago)

ok, I have just emailed db and anthony for their permission to do this, let's see if it's ok with them.

felicity (felicity), Friday, 3 January 2003 05:27 (twenty-two years ago)

I got dibs on February 2nd!

David R. (popshots75`), Friday, 3 January 2003 07:29 (twenty-two years ago)

ok, DaveR, 2/2/03 will be St. David R.'s Day!

BTW, Anthony has emailed me his blessing so we just need to secure donut bitch's permisison to use his copyrighted images for this to be a go.

felicity (felicity), Friday, 3 January 2003 07:31 (twenty-two years ago)

wait, is feburary an actual photo or is to photoshopped?

That Girl (thatgirl), Friday, 3 January 2003 09:46 (twenty-two years ago)

a real image.

anthony easton (anthony), Friday, 3 January 2003 10:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Since it looks like Felicity is taking care of birthdays, I'd be happy to help with anything else...

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 3 January 2003 13:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I'd like one please!!

And April 14th must be printed thusly "hip hip hooray for jel of the magical birthing days"

jel -- (jel), Friday, 3 January 2003 13:18 (twenty-two years ago)

My day is September 6th. Only 3 quarters of a year left!

Sarah McLusky (coco), Friday, 3 January 2003 13:43 (twenty-two years ago)

wait, is feburary an actual photo or is to photoshopped?

My scanner has problems, hence the pink zones.

donut bitch (donut), Friday, 3 January 2003 17:06 (twenty-two years ago)

so do we have your permission, db?

felicity (felicity), Friday, 3 January 2003 18:01 (twenty-two years ago)

My birthday is June 8th. I want one of these!

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 3 January 2003 19:10 (twenty-two years ago)

What's the day that ILE started? June 8th or 9th? That's a holiday!

And you know when st rosemary's day is, right, felicity?

rosemary (rosemary), Friday, 3 January 2003 19:29 (twenty-two years ago)

yes! December 6!

felicity (felicity), Friday, 3 January 2003 19:44 (twenty-two years ago)

ILE starts June 6th = mark s' birthday
Big Move = 11th August
My Birthday = 23rd July
Suzy's Picnic in the Sky (=first ILE event) = 21st July

db, can you get higher resolution scans?

Graham (graham), Friday, 3 January 2003 19:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Graham (graham), Friday, 3 January 2003 19:49 (twenty-two years ago)

March 2 = Ned enters the world, the Nediverse begins.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 3 January 2003 20:21 (twenty-two years ago)

November 8th please!

mark p (Mark P), Friday, 3 January 2003 20:25 (twenty-two years ago)

This is the first time I have seen this. I simply must have an Anthony in every month.

Ally C (Ally C), Friday, 3 January 2003 21:25 (twenty-two years ago)

indeed, unlike Christmas Jones, Anthony should . . . [Dan Perry to thread]

felicity (felicity), Friday, 3 January 2003 21:32 (twenty-two years ago)

HAHAHAHAHAHA! At first I was all, "Who is Christmas Jones?" and then I remembered Denise-bot's star turn as a Bond girl: "JAMES-WE-MUST-DEACTIVATE-THE-NUCLEAR-BOMB" *bounce bounce bounce in a dirty tanktop*

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 3 January 2003 21:36 (twenty-two years ago)

"What do you need to deactivate a nuclear bomb?"
"You need MEEEE!"

felicity (felicity), Friday, 3 January 2003 21:38 (twenty-two years ago)

October 2nd = the day both myself and Arantxa entered the world of the living.

RickyT (RickyT), Friday, 3 January 2003 23:46 (twenty-two years ago)

so do we have your permission, db?

Uh.... um, YES!!

And my b-day is December 6 as well.

donut bitch (donut), Saturday, 4 January 2003 00:21 (twenty-two years ago)

hooray!

felicity (felicity), Saturday, 4 January 2003 00:29 (twenty-two years ago)

January 18. Hey, isn't Chris the Sex Tourist turning THIRTY soon? Like, tomorrow or something?

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Saturday, 4 January 2003 00:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Don't even say that word, Dang.

Nic"old" (Nicole), Saturday, 4 January 2003 00:32 (twenty-two years ago)

"sex"? "tourist"?

Because surely you don't mean THIRTY...

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Saturday, 4 January 2003 00:35 (twenty-two years ago)

what:

30?

RickyT (RickyT), Saturday, 4 January 2003 00:37 (twenty-two years ago)

Spencer = March 4th, please.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Saturday, 4 January 2003 00:38 (twenty-two years ago)

I will make you all pay and pay. Evil curs...

Nicole (Nicole), Saturday, 4 January 2003 00:40 (twenty-two years ago)

This is brilliant. I need one. Oh, and I have dibs on March 18th. And yes, I said that just so I could say "dibs."

Jen (nstop), Saturday, 4 January 2003 00:44 (twenty-two years ago)

Just as long as I get the one just before that - St. PatriXor Day.

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 4 January 2003 01:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Can we make May 13th Get Out of Jail Free Day?

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Saturday, 4 January 2003 01:30 (twenty-two years ago)

DIBS!

David R. (popshots75`), Saturday, 4 January 2003 02:01 (twenty-two years ago)

September 20th. Also, any reservations I previously had about hanging out with Anthony when he comes to Mpls. are GONE. (note: this does not mean sex0r)

Nate Patrin (Nate Patrin), Saturday, 4 January 2003 02:28 (twenty-two years ago)

March 26th - International Day of the Ass Mucous Revolution

Queen G (Queeng), Sunday, 5 January 2003 01:30 (twenty-two years ago)

What's all this about turning 30? (Says someone who is comfortably 31.)

Edina's mom to me: "When will you be forty?"

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 5 January 2003 22:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Urgent (& key) question: On what dates are the festivals of 1) the Chickenbear, and 2) Hanle y's anal bats?

j.lu (j.lu), Monday, 6 January 2003 20:06 (twenty-two years ago)

Let us not forget IceMothMas, when Hanle y covers himself in flame.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 6 January 2003 20:22 (twenty-two years ago)

The Festival of the Rising of the Chickenbear has traditionally taken place on February 3rd. In many northern American and some Canadian towns and villages locals have been known to celebrate the day by dressing as the Grand High Hanle y Deus and re-enacting the day that the Chickenbears woke from their winter slumber, this involves a complex dance routine, much drinking and the singing of the "Ballad of the Chickenbear". Children traditionally leave out a cardboard box which they hope Hanle y Deus will fill with toys and gifts, bad children have been known to receive a rather smelly sock.

Spotting a Chickenbear on February 3rd is thought to be a sign of good luck in love and virility.

It is also the day after Groundhog Day, scientists believe that there could be some of genetic link between the two creatures.

Chickenbear Information Society (jel), Monday, 6 January 2003 20:32 (twenty-two years ago)

No way was the big move on August 11th. I'd have remembered, as that's, like, when Nabisco was incorporated.

nabisco (nabisco), Monday, 6 January 2003 22:41 (twenty-two years ago)

three weeks pass...
THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN

anthony easton (anthony), Sunday, 2 February 2003 08:15 (twenty-two years ago)

I agree, it so does.

j.lu., perhaps if you print out some proofs and send them to me I can get this made up? We can forget the holidays -- too much like "name your favorite ilXors" game anyway. Unless you starte dthat.

please email me if you get a chance. Otherwise, I'll just go get some photo printing paper and get this started over the weekend.

Once I know the weight, I will ask everyone who wants one to send me a S.A.S.E unless they are overseas, in that case, just their address.

felicity (felicity), Monday, 3 February 2003 07:54 (twenty-two years ago)

oh, and mark mentioned that he sent you the birthday list directly? SO if you could forward that to me y email perhaps I can do that after all.

I will bleed january over to 2004. The photo is too good to waste.

felicity (felicity), Monday, 3 February 2003 07:57 (twenty-two years ago)

october 18

Chris V. (Chris V), Monday, 3 February 2003 19:49 (twenty-two years ago)
