Hello!

I'm gonna be on Watchdog next week - about this :

Big Bad 'Murkin Con Artists D/D?

I felt the need to share my almost certain public humiliation with you lot....

smee (smee), Thursday, 3 March 2005 12:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Wow! Yay for crusading smee! I can't watch it but I hope the conning bitch gets her comeuppance once and for all obviously.

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 3 March 2005 12:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Thanks Archel. I was interviewed yesterday. Thought it'd be a 2 minute thing, they had me under spotlights for ages! And they filmed me walking up and down the street - whit a riddy!

smee (smee), Thursday, 3 March 2005 12:52 (twenty-one years ago)

yay! smee teevee, yo!

g-kit (g-kit), Thursday, 3 March 2005 14:15 (twenty-one years ago)

Aww cheers g-kit ;0).....yo.....

smee (smee), Thursday, 3 March 2005 15:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Well done Smee!! *claps*

PinXorchiXoR (Pinkpanther), Thursday, 3 March 2005 15:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Yay TV! Why I remember my own star turn...

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 3 March 2005 15:08 (twenty-one years ago)

Do tell.....I am so nervous. And I don't have any means of recording it for posterity either, which is prolly for the best!

smee (smee), Thursday, 3 March 2005 15:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Heheh. I was 11. ;-)

Ned. 1982. 11 years old. TV. Captain Kangaroo.

(Unfortunately the file itself is no longer available.)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 3 March 2005 15:14 (twenty-one years ago)

Aww ;0(

Well I'm nearly 30 and normally run a million miles at the sight of a normal camera - never mind being on tv! But I was wronged and felt the need to do something about it.....

smee (smee), Thursday, 3 March 2005 15:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Why you were out to kick arse and name names, my dear Smee, and that is no bad thing. :-)

Oh this reminds me! I shall be visiting Glasgow July 11 to 13 and there will be FAPs, should you care to join in.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 3 March 2005 15:22 (twenty-one years ago)

WOW, brilliant! Has there ever been a real live actual proper Glasgow FAP? I'll try to be there...I might even persuade my mate Rumpy Pumpkin to accompany me.

smee (smee), Thursday, 3 March 2005 15:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Rah!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 3 March 2005 16:06 (twenty-one years ago)

I shall have to pop in more often and keep an eye out for a FAP Glasgow thread..

smee (smee), Thursday, 3 March 2005 16:20 (twenty-one years ago)

:-)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Thursday, 3 March 2005 16:25 (twenty-one years ago)

FAP Glasgow, is like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, no matter how close you get to it, it keeps moving away. Anyway good luck in your righteous quest, it's her turn to face public humuliation now.

Billy Dods (Billy Dods), Thursday, 3 March 2005 16:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Tuesday night 7pm it goes out....

smee (smee), Thursday, 3 March 2005 16:40 (twenty-one years ago)

OK, I need help - my nerves are shot to hell. I was fine after filming but now the whole world and their work and aunties and mum's and dugs are telling me how they are gonna be watching and I just know I'm gonna look like a twunt!!!!!

smee (smee), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 09:36 (twenty-one years ago)

I'll be in work, so won't get the chance to see it, but I'm confident you'll be ace, Smee. And bloody well done.

Matt (Matt), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 10:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Thanx Matt but I am terrified! I can't remember half of what I said and I'm scared I'm gonna look all whiney and pathetic.

smee (smee), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 10:14 (twenty-one years ago)

You have the support of the nation behind you because only the scottish know that we DON'T sound like THAT in real life, only on tv and radio....

Rumpsy Pumpsy (Rumpie), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 10:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Gee, thanks. That helps. Not only do you quadruple my verves via email, you pick on me here too. I don't have a strong Glaswegian accent anyway....

smee (smee), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 10:28 (twenty-one years ago)

No, neer dae ahh, but it'll sound like it on the telly.

Rumpsy Pumpsy (Rumpie), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 10:29 (twenty-one years ago)

It better not!

And your accent is stronger than mine, hen.

smee (smee), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 10:34 (twenty-one years ago)

Naw it isnae! Ahm hawf choochter anyweye, ye must be hearin the irvine comin oot in mae.

Rumpsy Pumpsy (Rumpie), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 10:37 (twenty-one years ago)

Tcheuchter sweetie, tcheuchter....

smee (smee), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 10:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Teuchter, actually. Yay Smee. Have you reported her to the Judge in the Sunday Mail as well? That's usually a good way to humiliate people locally.

ailsa (ailsa), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 17:29 (twenty-one years ago)

You didn't sound pathetic, or whiny, or like an extra from River City. Mind you, no-one would have sounded as whiney or pathetic as the dudes who arsed up their girlfriends' Valentines flowers that were on after you ("I had to take her out for dinner OH NO!"). Watchdog really is a load of old arse these days. I thought they were there to sort things out rather than just go "here is a story, that's a shame, here is another story".

ailsa (ailsa), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 20:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Thank you - I'm just relieved it's all over! I thought I sounded DEAD Scottish and sing-songy, but apparently that's what I sound like - who have thought it?!

It is a bit of a cruddy programme I admit. I wanted them to doorstep her like they did with that Conservatory guy - THAT would have been worth it.

smee (smee), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 08:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh and as for the Judge - she's been in the Daily Record *spits* twice, both times full page stories - I'm sure the Judge would've have done something by now if he was gonna ;0)
