Bar bands in the 21st century

i saw a fucking great show in Detroit. Midwest Product, a local band, opened for Interpol and blew them out of the water. What are some other great local bands in the US and UK that are just waiting to blow up? Midwest Product are def. deserved of some extra coverage, in my midwest opinion. This question is void in NYC, no one cares about your bands.

Sorry I have nothing more to contribute. I've never heard of this band, though I guess it doesn't surprise me that they blew Interpol. Out of the water I mean. "Midwest Product" is a hilarious name, it sounds like a New York band!
