I stopped being a moderator a few months back bcz it was taking up much too much of my time, but certainly while I was, Calum was the ONLY poster to ilx ever to threaten to have it shut down by legal action: he did this repeatedly

Please explain at great length and in the whiniest, most sniveling manner possible, precisely how you have been harmed and by whom, with particular attention to providing actual evidence both of the nature of harm that you have suffered and of the identity of the perpetrators.

You will find this excellent practice for when you are trying to convince the police.

Interestingly enough, you may well discover while you are talking to the police that they are in fact fascists who are pretending to be pc liberals - but try not to let that concern you too much.

you can't sue someone for impeding your right to free 'speech' after you have ignored the rules stipulated by that someone in an environment they are operating and managing - that's why landlords can bar anyone they like from their pub. nor can you sue somebody for adding your e-mail to a porn mailing list, not least because it's tough to prove it was added by someone else (IP schm-IP) - and if this were wrong then I'd like to be compensated by all those companies who have ruined both my regular e-mail accounts due to harvesting my address from the internet.
