this probably wont be on here for too long, but jewess is a total cuntrag... she just fucking banned me from a thread i started for being civil... wierd. also.. this johnny fever guy is a total douche... hes 32 and has nothing better to do than post his shitty opinions on every fucking board this side of texas... maybe hes recovering from a messy divorce or something... maybe jewess is a total power-tripping cunt because she/he realizes that this is the power he has here on the internet is the only pull she/he will ever have in his/her entire life, so hey... you gotta make do with what you have...

this is my first day posting on boards like this and ive come to realize that there are way too many fuck ups and losers here to waste valuable man hours listening to.

It's kind of worrying, though, that he's a rock critic, when you see this sort of "I think I'll ban this guy from his own thread" power tripping going on in his head. Na, I don't think it's necessary to stop new people from posting for a week. There are rational minds everywhere, and my fear is that if we block these people from posting when they find the site, we run the risk of losing their interest completely.

As for the second part of the quote, I couldn't disagree more. Any time you use the term "bashing" with a prefix (gay-bashing, race-bashing, etc), doesn't it becomes prejudicial by nature? If a new person is a dick, then others in the community should call him on being a dick, not because he's a newbie that's a dick. He's a dick because he's a dick, not because he's new.

I guess I wasn't being clear-- I agree with you. I don't think new people should be hated on for being new. New people who are acting terribly (like mean-spirited shitheads looking for fights) should be told that they're doing so, and if it doesn't stop, they should be banned.

I still think that the one-week rule is a good one, but that might just be me.
