it's just Sunday evening
so what's with this sinking feeling?
I must have done one of these
at least a thousand times before
maybe more

it never stops raining
there isn't much point complaining
tomorrow will turn up soon
and then it's back to work for you
or whatever it is that you do

it's one of those washed-out days
let's face it, there isn't much on
except Songs of Praise
it's just Sunday evening
it's just Sunday evening

it's still Sunday evening
I've had more than enough, I'm leaving
I'm tired of it never ending
so it's off to bed for me
and tomorrow, well maybe we'll see

it's one of those washed-out days
let's face it, there isn't much on
except Songs of Praise
it's just Sunday evening
it's just Sunday evening

I hope that it's over soon

Thanks for that Agent Orange track - I like it a lot. I'll definitely check out some of the Killed by Death stuff. I knew some of the songs (Pagans, Misfits, Husker Du, Fear, Adolescents) but still great stuff all around. Keep them coming if anyone has more.

Showcase Showdown are immensely entertaining, very early 80's throwback sound. "I've Got A Date With Louise Woodward" is a particular favorite. Their Christmas song "Merry Christmas I Fucked Your Snowman" is one of the best punk Xmas songs ever.
