Despite my semi-evil ways, can I get some assistance?

Actually, the reason why I haven't logged in since is somewhat beyond this error...

After I learned about the password randomizer and my glorious mistake, I created a new login name and got a new password...however, when I now log in -- which says LOGIN SUCCESSFUL -- I get in and find no settings link, and only another login link...the cookie reamins set and eventually blocks me out of ILX altogether.

I now just erase my cookies and don't login all while using a truncated version of my email addy.

Again, I am not the smart guy in this bunch, so I'm sure it's something I'm (not) doing.
