Those vertical lines were choosen by Excel, I had nothing to do with it. (It goes by a certain number of days).

Ha ha, I entered the world of The Forum right around the time of one of those massive dips illustrated in that chart. And the dip continued until I'd been around here for a few weeks or so. This could very well say or mean something. Or maybe not.

I got here about two dots or so (dec 2001) before the first lefthand bar. N is right - it does seem kind of weird. I think back then the top 50 posters included pretty much *all* of the posters.

Do you really think that's what caused it Matos? It seems unlikely to me - we've not even had any online link generate that kind of surge, let alone an offline mention. (Repeated mentions in high-circulation newspapers have got us pretty much zero extra). Also I didnt get the impression that the surge was on ILM first and foremost, which is what you'd expect from a Da Capo related boost.

It's probably something like Google changing its algorithms!

It's interesting that there was such a flatness during the first half of 2002, I remember it as being really busy then!
