A cartoon is keeping me from viewing ILM threads???

When I view the Sixth YSI request thread on the ILM board as well as other thread I 've read, I get a flashing cartoon or a white screen. Is this my computer or the site?

i updated the logging of locking to work better. unfortunately the "lockee" was being logged and not the "locker", so i've made me the locker of those permissions in the log now.

Whatever was done on th e threat Kate linked to, it's putting up images on the screen, even though I have images off in my settings. When I blocked that particular image, the page was still really slow & jerky.
