xpost some douchefuck ILXors went on a thread someone started to raise money for a philly kitty charity to get operations on three badly injured kittens and started a dumbfuck argument basically accusing anyone considering donating to animal shelters of hating humans and having fucked up priorities. amt of $$$$$$ dying cats and dogs probably got out of ilx through that thread: $45. amt of $$$$$$$ andrew has gotten to buy new servers over the years from these people: $78 trillion. the "fuck you for supporting animal charities" thread really kind of solidified my "I hate 99% of the people here" stance.

November 14 is the death knell for ilx @ keypoint. Stet offered to pay some money to them to get more time but Andrew would rather they got no $$ at all from anyone ever apparently.

So they have to order a new server and ship it to its new home in Canada ASAP to beat the deadline.

Some people would just rather not have google adwords. I've never heard Norman or even any of the mods come out either for or against google ads much, but you know what, the code that Jon doesn't believe is getting fixed is going to be under the BSD license, so everybody can feel free to compile it on their own host, rewrite it as they please, and put adwords all over the goddamn thing.

That was kind of my point about getting people to rewrite the shit anyway, I don't care if it's faster or better or less easily mistaken for a bowl of pho, just that it not belong to fucking Graham anymore.

He actually e-mailed me personally to tell me how he retains ownership of the code! Like I don't know this and I am going to steal his crazy bullshit!
