Classic or Dud : Classic or Dud

It's never so black and white. There are almost no C/D threads that I would rank as "dud" -- maybe indifferent or mediocre, but very few outright "dud"'s. The C/D format leaves no room for middle ground. Yes, this is the point (you're supposed to pick one or the other) but two or three posts in, everybody just posts their opinions, paying no heed to the C/D format.
Everyone's opinions: Classic
Restrictive C/D format: DUD.

Yes, I am aware of the ironies of using a C/D thread to argue that a C/D thread is a DUD. Oh well, what can ya do?

"Classic or Dud": Classic or Dud
Classic or Dud: Classic or Dud?
Classic or Dud: C/D?
Classic Or Dud: Classic or DUD?

Is there a thread about whether or not pointing out that previous threads exist on the subject is classic or dud?

Oh, that's definitely a classic. It saves time and annoyance.
Hey, at least this wasn't yet another thread about Dizzee Rascal.

It's just like the infinite library in that Borges story.
