Looking for some gems from the 80s. I just got Psych Candy by Jesus and Mary Chain and enjoy it. ANY STYLE of music is good for me. Fill me in on what I missed by being too young. Maybe stuff just below or above the radar.

"Scoundrel Days" is a-ha's hidden gem. I would say "Hunting...." is fairly patchy, but "Scoundrel Days" is crowded with great album tracks that never had the exposure they deserved. "The Swing Of Things" is the best thing they ever did.
