The Big Brother team have tonight confirmed to members of the media and press that there WILL be 13 housemates in this year's Big Brother house on Friday.
However, as previously reported, the housemate that walks in last and closes the door behind them is in for a rocky ride, as the 13th housemate will be the unluckiest ever.
The BB team confirm that the housemates have 'nowhere to hide' and that they even have heat-seeking thermal imaging camera technology this year in the bedrooms to capture the housemates' every movement!
The housemates are currently in isolation and have no idea what awaits them, not even the 13th housemate knows about what is in store for them. They will face a number of decisions during their time in the Big Brother house, and this series promises to be the most unpredictable one ever as nothing is what it seems.

Yeah, that was what they originally announced. However, I haven't heard anything about that plan for ages. E4 itself is indeed now going completely free on Freeview. Good eh? Don't know if they're still launching another channel or not.

An E4 +1 channel has appeared on my Freeview and it's streaming constant trailers! But the E4 channel remains black. I hope this will change - my freeview is temperamental and blippy and I don't want to have to watch things an hour later than everyone else all the time.

I will probably miss BB all weekend - I'm flying down to see my folks, who are very anti, and my flight lands at 9.05 this evening so that's tonight's prog ruled out regardless.

I have to do that about twice a week anyway. TMF and Hits appear each time I do it, last between 10 minutes and 2 days, then conk out again. I'm a bit worried this will also happen with E4. It's just down to having the wrong kind of arial and living in the wrong kind of place, really.

I think the "who goes..." leads to the most interesting/good to watch characters being ejected first (right enough - theres not many interesting/good to watch characters this year). i mean, do you think many would have voted for craig to stay over mary?

Funny, when I started this thread, BB2004 had just ended, and we had come to know and love the housemates anyhow. So I called it "painful showoffs" as a form of irony. But judging by the tabloids, painful showoffs is what they are. But they do that every year.

Makosi was the first to initiate the intimacy, thrusting her hand down Anthony's pants as he lay innoncently on his bed. Quite how far she got is unclear, although a lurking Sam was heard to exclaim: "I just saw his dick!"

As Anthony came to terms with the violation, Lesley and Vanessa were quietly getting to know each other better on the opposite side of the room.

When it became apparent that the pair were pashing, Makosi darted over and jumped under the sheets to join in with the fun. Strangely, Craig attempted to join them too but was promptly told: "Piss off!"

The trio went on to spend the best part of an hour in bed together, most of which was cut out by the live stream producers.

AdrianB - The stuff re: Derek and alleged paedophilia. I've just searched google, and there's only two references, neither of which in any way has any proof attached. This is not all over the internet, there are no traces of it really. I mean, think of the amount of damages he could get for libel and character assassination if they did publish. And without the evidence, and I mean hard culpability, there's no way any of the press would touch this, although things about links in South Africa in the 1980's might emerge soon.
